The lagoon of Venice is where the Gèmo collection finds the roots of its essential lines and name. Gèmo, which in Venetian dialect means yarn ball, refers to the distinctive shape and texture of the mouth-blown glass lamp shade. The soft lines on its surface suggest the handmade technique called “molatura”, by which the artisans imprint engravings directly on the glass. The dimmable light emphasizes the intensity of the lines while the slim metal legs, available in Black Chrome and Brushed Brass, give Gèmo stability and adaptability. Available as a table, floor and ceiling lamp.
